HOS is a collective of artists, makers and galleries based in the Highland Region of Scotland. Members of HOS open their studios and galleries to the public at various times throughout the year. Beauly Gallery will be open as usual during this years Highland Open Studios Event, which we have organised between Saturday 24th and Saturday 31st July 2010. During Tuesday 27th and Thursday 29th July, Eileen Addly will be in-store demonstrating between 12pm- 4pm, why not pop along to view Eileen at work and find out more about her painting process. Eileen concentrates her painting based on 'an idea' but also finds that the lovely scenery in the Highlands gives her an opportunity to paint boldly. Using acrylics her paintings, large or small, express a freedom of colour and atmosphere for a vibrant choice of subjects.

Located in a beautifully restored and converted 18th century kirk on the outskirts of the small and charming town of Beauly.
We house a fabulous selection of Scotland's most celebrated artists, including John Lowrie Morrison and Davy Brown, alongside many local favourites including Christine O'Keeffe, Nicola MacDonnell, Janis Mennie and Gwen Black to name a few.

In the same building and right next to the Gallery you will find The Kirk Coffee Shop where you can sample a range of freshly brewed specialist coffees (and teas!) and a mouthwatering selection of homebaked cakes, pastries, traditional Scottish meals and homemade soups.
